Daycare & Boarding Attendant: This position works at our boarding & doggy daycare facility.  This position is responsible for feeding dogs, cleaning up after them, monitoring them and keeping them safe and making sure that play is appropriate.  This position also plays with and provides pets and attention to the dogs.  The position also requires answering the phone, and speaking to customers.  Applicants must be comfortable working with multiple dogs and be comfortable being alone with them.  This is a part time position and hours and shifts vary.

In Home Pet Caregiver: Pet caregivers provide pet care in client's homes in the San Marcos area.    The standard visit is 30 minutes, but some are shorter or longer, depending on client needs.  There is a lot of driving involved but all driving is within San Marcos and all caregivers are compensated for their drive time and fuel.  Visits consist of but are not limited to walking dogs, feeding pets, giving medication, play time, pets, watering plants, grabbing mail etc.  Shifts are short and visits are back to back, though sometimes there are split shifts such as morning/midday or midday/evening.

Applicants should be 18 years old, live in San Marcos, have an insured & reliable vehicle, a smartphone, be able to pass a background check, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be comfortable working in all types of weather, and have availability to work during holidays, weekends and summertime.  This is a very part time position and should only be counted on as supplemental income.
